ABOUT US
The American Morkshire Terrier Club was established with the primary goal of preserving the rich heritage of Morkshire Terriers. With a team of dedicated volunteers leading the way, our non-profit organization has gained a reputable status nationwide.
AMTC's mission encompasses various aspects, including promoting responsible ownership, prioritizing the health of canines, and advancing the breed. Collaborating closely with the UKC, we strive to achieve complete recognition for the Morkshire Terrier breed.
One of the key responsibilities of the American Morkshire Terrier Club is managing a comprehensive Registry, the American Terrier Registry (AMTR) that provides registration services for all breeds ensuring that the breed's lineage and purity are maintained. We uphold stringent breeding standards to guarantee the quality and integrity of Morkshire Terriers. Additionally, the club organizes a range of enjoyable and family-friendly dog events, creating opportunities for dog enthusiasts to come together and celebrate their shared love for these adorable canines.
The AMTC also serves as a valuable resource for dog enthusiasts worldwide. We provide a wealth of information and support to owners, breeders, and anyone passionate about Morkshire Terriers. By joining the AMTC community, individuals become part of a group of like-minded dog lovers who consider their pets as cherished family members. Together, we work towards the betterment of the breed and the overall well-being of Morkshire Terriers.
